My name is Cheznei, I’m 20 years old and I am the owner and creator of WynxEyeCandy. Launched in early 2017, I created WynxEyeCandy for those who seek a dramatic, dreamy or glamorous look with their eyes.

How does being a black woman with a business make you feel? Being a black woman with a business makes me feel very appreciative of my community, the support that I receive from my family, friends, customers and people I don’t even know is truly a humbling experience! It’s pure bliss and I enjoy every moment of it.

Your mink lashes are cruelty free, are you against animal testing? Yes, WynxEyeCandy is 100% cruelty free and I don’t promote any animal testing or cruelty.

Would you be adding more beauty products to your line? Yes, I am currently in the works of adding new lash styles and other products to my line, so stay tuned!

What made you want to start selling/making eyelashes? When I was in 10th grade I began my phase of wanting to enhance my features and I would beg my mom to let me wear eyelashes. Eventually she gave in and told me that I could wear them if I learned to apply them myself, I began watching YouTube tutorials on how to apply them almost every day until I finally got comfortable with the application process. I guess I mastered it because my friends at school and family members would ask me to apply theirs which all made me think about how I could have my own lash line. These days, I am focused on building my brand.

How many times can the mink lashes be worn? WynxEyeCandy can be worn up to 25 times with proper care.
