Ivy Candle: Ivy Candle is a soy base candle company that I started with my partner. We call it a purposeful business because we hope to one day use our profits to impact the world. We specialize in six main scents. All of our candles our made home based.

Woman Boss Wednesday: “Impact the world”, I love it. Not many would use their business proceeds to help others.

Ivy Candle: Thank you. I’ve just always wanted to play my part in the world and I feel the only way I can do that is by helping as much people as I can live better lives in any way that I can.

Woman Boss Wednesday: Which scent is your all time favorite?

Ivy Candle: My all time favorite scent is “Vanilla Hazelnut”! It literally smells yummy! It’s a sweet chocolate scent with a bit of Hazelnut. The combination together is just so perfect to me!

Woman Boss Wednesday: I’m a vanilla scent girl! I love smelling like baked goods.

Woman Boss Wednesday: Without giving too much would there be any new scents coming this spring?

Ivy Candle:Yes, we did a Valentine’s Day campaign and the scents we included have been a great hit. We are working on adding them to the collection. But we are always looking and testing new scents to add to the collection.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS:

Natasha Archer, 22, is currently enrolled in the pre-med program at FAU. She has plans of becoming a Neonatologist, with a special interest in children. She believe her purpose is to be a care giver. Her partner Taj Jones, 24, devotes most of his time to making the candles for the business. His focus is creating new ways to keep “Ivy Candle” products new and exciting! Natasha says “Taj is the backbone to “Ivy Candle”! The two share the same vision on making the world a better place for our generation and generations to come! Ivy Candle is dedicated to bringing this vision to life along with so many other things.
